Mr. Fred Golightly, Director of Business Development of Vietnam Resource Group participated in the National Seminar on Human Resource Development in the Hospitality Industry in Vietnam on August 17, 2010 at Thang Loi Hotel, Ha Noi. The Seminar was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and presided by the Hon. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Deputy Prime Minister.

During the seminar, Mr. Golightly has signed a Business Cooperation with Hoang Long Tourism Training Company in Ha Noi to develop various and short term hospitality training programs in cooperation with the College of Continuing and Professional Education of the California State University in Long Beach, CA.

Vietnam Resource Group, LLC and Geovisions are cooperating to bring volunteered American students, business executives and retired teachers to Vietnam under “The Conversational Partner Program”. The participants of this program will be assigned to work a minimum of 20 hours a week to interact with Vietnamese students in a conversational workshop organized by local universities / colleges. Networking with over 150 Logistics & Freight Forwarding comanies in Vietnam: On June 12, 2010, Vietnam Resource Group sponsored a networking meeting with all major logistics, transportation, freight forwarder, custom broker companies in HCM City. The event was participated by over 150 sales and executives in the industry. Its objective is to network among professionals in the same field. Vietgroup’s participation is to promote the Global Logistics Management Program which is provided by the College of Continuing Professional & Education of the California State University.

Washington DC – Under a cooperation between the Vietnam Tourism Association and Vietnam Resource Group, a consulting service company based in Newark, DE, a delegation of 10 executives of various businesses (Tour, Hotel, Real Estate, Trade and Finance companies) will be visiting San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York from May 23 to June 4th, 2010.

A number of networking receptions will be organized in different cities to provide American and Vietnamese companies with opportunities to share information and interests in cooperating with each other.

In addition, the delegation will also participate in a seminar on Human Resource Management and Leadership training organized by the College of Continuing Professional Education of CSU in Long Beach, CA.
